CycleBond
A downloadable game
Welcome to CycleBond!
You are trapped. Every 60 seconds, your world resets, sending you back to the very beginning. But not everything is lost in the echo of time. Your actions have consequences that ripple through to the next cycle. Can you use your own memory to build a path forward and break the loop?
This game was created for the GMTK Game Jam 2025 with the theme: LOOP.
Key Features
- The 60-Second Loop: Time is your greatest enemy and your most powerful tool. Every minute, the world resets, but your knowledge and some of your previous actions remain.
- Persistent Memory: Solve puzzles across multiple loops! An opened door can become a platform in the next cycle. A button pressed stays pressed. Use your past self to help your future self.
- Physics-Based Interaction: Fire a projectile to interact with the world. Press buttons from a distance or sever the ropes holding a crucial platform in place.
- Dynamic Traversal: Discover and use mysterious portals to launch yourself across the level. Chain them together for incredible combos and to reach impossible places.
- A World of Secrets: Talk to the other lost soul trapped in the loop to uncover the secrets of your confinement.
